Peter and Sharon Garner look forward to welcoming you to Burnside BandB their 4 Star Silver Award BandB minutes from Keswick's Market Square, Derwentwater and stunning North Lakes countryside.Burnside BandB is furnished to a high standard in an Arts and Crafts Victorian period style. Rooms are meticulously clean and have individual thermostatically controlled heating, en-suite shower, basin and loo, flat screen TV's + Freeview, clock radios and hair dryers. To ensure your added comfort top quality non allergic duvets and large towels are standard. En-suites have a good range of complimentary toiletries and refreshment trays include organic Freetrade teas, coffee, hot chocolate and luxury biscuits.Sharon, a professsional caterer, provides an extensive breakfast menu. Special diets and packed lunches are gladly catered for by prior arrangement. Peter has worked for most of his life in Keswick's holiday industry and is a keen walker and naturalist. Both are pleased to help and advise in any way to ensure the fullest enjoyment of your stay.Burnside exceeds statutory Health and Safety obligations and is one of the few properties in the area fire risk assessed to BS PAS79. Exit M6 @ Jcn 40 follow A66 west for 17 miles. Take the first exit for Keswick onto The HawthornsPenrith Road. Burnside BandB is 0.5 mile on the right. Coming from the south via the A591 (Lakes scenic route) Exit M6 @ Jcn 36 take A591 via Windermere, Ambleside, Grasmere on the approach to Keswick down Chestnut Hill look for junction on right for M6, Penrith, Workington etc. Turn right Burnside BandB is 50 metres on the left. Rail Bus go to Penrith Rail Station. Bus to Keswick alight 2nd stop after exiting A66 near junction with Eleventrees Lane.
