Lynwood is a large Victorian House built in the 1850's using local slate. An impressive house, Lynwood has retained many of its original features.Lynwood has six spacious ensuite bedrooms, which have recently been refurbished to a high standard. All rooms have central heating, digital TVs, hairdryers, tea and coffee, plus complimentary bathroom items.Breakfast is served in our large dining room and all the bacon, eggs and sausages are all locally produced. Our hearty Cumberland breakfast is a great way to set you up for the day, whatever your plans.We also offer Vegetarian, Gluten free and the Lighter Option.Situated in a quiet residential area of Keswick, yet only a five minute walk from the Town Centre, with all its shops, restaurants and pubs.Derwentwater is only a short walk away, here you can hire a boat, or cruise around the lake on the Derwent Launch.Most of the famous walks of this area start from our doorstep, and we are only to happy to point you in the right direction.

From the M6 leave at Junction 40.Take the A66 to Keswick.After 14 miles take the A591 signposted KeswickWindermereAt the T junction turn left to Windermere.After 400 metres turn right onto Manor Brow (signposted Castlerigg Manor)Follow the road down the hill and Lynwood is approx 120 metres on the right once the road levels out.
