Sue, Dave, Kyle and Arthur offer you a warm welcome to Larry's Lodge, dog friendly guest house accommodation in Keswick, the Lake District.Larry's Lodge is just a few minutes walk from Keswick town centre, the Theatre By The Lake and Derwentwater. You can start many of your walks around the fells from our accommodation while leaving your car parked outside our house on quiet Eskin street.All the twin and double bedrooms in Larry's Lodge guest accommodation are en-suite with the single bedroom having its own private shower room and private bathroom.Breakfast at Larry's Lodge is specially prepared for you using local produce. You can choose from a full cooked English breakfast with free range eggs, Vegetarian or just choose from our selection of cereals, fresh fruit and local honey. Our home made marmalade and bread are real favourites with our guests.Our small front garden has been highly commended in the small Guest House, Bed and Breakfast category of the Keswick in Bloom awards .We are walker and cyclist friendly. We can also offer advice on walks of different grades around the area.Dogs welcome by arrangement. Directions from the M6Take the A66 at Junction 40 and head west to Keswick, distance approx 21 miles.Take the first turn off for the A591 Windermere and Keswick.After a short distance you will come to a junction for the A591 Windermere and Keswick.At this point you should see the word KESWICK made with shrubs, turn right here.Travel down the hill (Chestnut Hill) past the TWA DOGS pub.Continue past a filling station, under old railway bridge (it is part of the Keswick Railway Walk).Continue past fire and ambulance stations.After approx a quarter of a mile look out for The Conservative Club on the left. Take the left turn into Greta Street.Continue across Blencathra Street.Look out for a taxi rank on your right.Continue over at this next junction and immediately on your right there is a launderette.You are now on Eskin Street.Look out for the telephone box on the left hand side and Larry's Lodge is opposite on the right hand side of the street.You can park for free on the street outside Larry's Lodge bed and breakfast.The nearest train station to Keswick is situated in Penrith which is 20 miles away.
